Food Log: 01.19.09

The home computer is still busted. I'm getting a new one on Thursday, but until then I have to post the food logs early (before I leave work). I ate well today and stayed in range of the points I wanted to eat. Skipping dinner is working well for me so I am going to keep doing that. My nightly coffee and a book are a great way to end the day. It really puts me in a great frame of mind.

My intention is to walk tonight. It probably won't be my normal 3.5 miles but I do plan on getting out there and back into a routine. I'm still not 100% well, but I feel well enough to do something. Maintaining the habit and the routine is 80% of the battle so when I am well, I can kick it up a few notches and not feel like I am starting over.

Have you always ate so few points? I wish I had your will power! What is your average loss per week?

Thanks!

Dina, I have evolved into eating such few points. I don't recommend it for everyone but it works for me. I don't feel deprived because I eat high quality, filling foods chock full of fiber (which keeps you full longer).

When I stay on points and cut out dinners I average at least a 3 pound loss per week but with exercise it can jump to a 5-7 pound loss per week.

This may be a stupod question, but are you a vegetarian? It looks like you make good food choices. Do you not get hungry at night time?

So, what time do you eat your two meals? I am trying different combinations of three meals... but what works for you?

Learing to be Less, yes. I am a vegetarian. I don't really get all that hungry at night because I have a cup of decaf coffee w/ skim milk around 7 PM and that keeps me satisfied until bed time.

Losing Waist, I eat breakfast around 9 AM and then have lunch around 1 PM. I also throw in a small snack around 3PM or 4PM and then follow it up with a coffee around 7PM. It is the best routine for me.
