One week of the C25K training program is in the books.
I'm looking forward to Saturday and the start of week 2 (6 runs of 90 seconds apiece alternated with 2 minute walks). This should give me a little more of a challenge.
This is an exciting thing - pursuing a 5K. I don't know how it ever got into my head to do it though. When I started out on this journey to drop the weight I knew I had to exercise, but I wasn't happy about it. Now I am not only exercising but pursuing something I always thought I hated - running.
